RITU
/
RITUAL REmEMBERING

TRUE RituaL IS ALIVE, liminal and ever-adaptive.  Its root, 'Ritu',  means 'season', as well as rhythm, rhyme, and cycle. Ritual is the means by which all our ancient ancestors gave back to that which gives Life, and cultivated intimacy with the cycles of death, loss and re-birth. It's how we remembered, how we learned, and how we stayed part of the Whole.

As ancient and fugitive a technology as Fire—ritual too transforms, purifies, and warms at a soul-level. But without it, we look to other bright lights for satiation they can never provide. Bereft of community ritual and rites of passage, we've forgotten who we are and where we came from. So to be in ritual is to return from exile —to come home to ourselves, each other, and our Shared Being.

'KUDUMBA': NONDUAL ANTI-RACIST ANCESTRAL HEALING

Colonialism, white-body supremacy, patriarchy—and the culture of disconnection that underlie them—are persistent forces at work to suppress our true natures; their effects being cumulative over generations. This multi-layered hierarchy unfolds onto every level  our Kudumba—our shared Human Family—shaping our personal & collective stories, grief and suffering. Whether we play out our roles as oppressed, or oppressor (or both), we each have the responsibility of healing and transforming our ancestral legacies. Rooted in a non-dual framework and using guided somatic ritual and sound, this workshop allows us come into radical empathy, compassion and connection with our selves and others wherever we exist on the spectrum.

'SOMA': EMBODIED LIBERATION for WATERING SEEDS in the DARK

As the anthropo-ego-structure around us collapses, our familiar stories—those told by the Colonial Mind—no longer work to offer us direction, but still attempt to seize our apertures of freedom.

Yet like wild weeds sprouting through the concrete, our true natures live perennially underneath the pavement of our collective amnesia, sustained by invisible nourishment—or Soma. Waiting patiently in the fecund Dark, with courage to break through the impossible—they are our ultimate teachers of skillful means.

In this intensive anti-colonial, eco-spiritual-political somatic training, we cultivate the wisdom to discern the Whole from the fracture; and to build our capacity to hold both the present and the future with tender fierceness.

RADICAL COUR(age):

TENDING the SHARED HEART

in UNCERTAIN TIMES

Living in the midst of the great unraveling—of widespread eco-genocide and increasing duality— the world continually seems to be falling apart around us. Isolated within late-stage capitalism and glued to our screens, we’re often left feeling powerless, angry, fearful or grief-struck. Yet this age of immense uncertainty is also the age of courage.

In this 3-hour ritual workshop, using guided breath-work and sound, we’ll enter into the resonant chambers of the shared human heart to discover just how personal the political is. This is an invitation to source a deeper resilience, compassion that embraces the Both/And—all the complexity and possibility of our present times.
